Happy Yorkshire Day!

Every idea starts with a vision! On Yorkshire Day we take a look back at the history of Swaleview Park and the family history in the local area. The Carter family started farming at East Applegarth in 1771! We established a milk delivery in 1929! In the 1930’s Joseph Frederick Clifford Carter (my dear grandad) had a vision to start holiday lettings on the land. Duty called with WW2 then in 1946 he established Swaleview Park. From tents and caravans, to holiday homes, a new children’s play park and recent lodge developments- we are still a family business and love our loyal and new customers – ‘The Swaleview Family’. We hope you enjoy our ‘then and now’ photos! Read more about our history at – https://swaleviewpark.co.uk/our-story/ Happy Yorkshire Day!
