A: No. The park licence permits use for holiday and recreational purposes only. To live permanently in a holiday home would be in breach of both the site licence and pitch licence agreement.

A: Yes, Swaleview Park is a member of the BH&HPA (British Holiday & Home Parks Association). General advice on purchasing a holiday home can be obtained from:

A: The Annual Park fee is due on 10th January each year. The Annual Park Fee includes VAT, rates, refuse collection, water, sewerage, park maintenance and park management, and use of the Park’s facilities.

When you purchase a unit you will be charged a pro-rata amount reflecting the amount of the season remaining.


Electricity is metered and invoiced annually in October.

Lodges have a bulk gas supply which is metered and invoiced annually in October.

Holiday homes are provided with two 47kg gas cylinders fitted with an automatic changeover valve. Replacement gas cylinders can be purchased from Reception.

A: Yes, we provide the standard contract from the trade association, the BH&HPA. This comprehensive purchase and licence agreement is the contract that will be made between you and Swaleview Park. It includes your right to keep the holiday home on the park for a given period of years and the times during which you can use your unit. Further copies are available on request.

A: We offer a 25-year licence for new holiday lodges  and a 15-year licence for new holiday homes, subject to the licence agreement and Park rules (new from date of manufacture)

A: Lodges are manufactured to British Standard 3632 for both residential and holiday use. Holiday homes can also be manufactured to this standard.

A: Manufacturers offer a 10-year gold warranty scheme for holiday lodges and either a 1 year or 3 year warranty on holiday homes. (Subject to certain terms & conditions)

A: Yes. The owners are resident on the Park and can be contacted at Reception or by telephone.

A: Yes, we welcome one well trained dog but reserve the right to refuse certain breeds.

A: Yes, there are plans for further developments on the Park, which will include landscaping to enhance the natural beauty of the Park.

A: Transport, siting, and commissioning for holiday lodges.  There is an additional fee for holiday homes – please contact us for more information.

A: Yes, subject to available plots and size of the lodge or holiday home.

A: Yes, manufacturers offer a bespoke design service to suit individual requirements. Manufacturers of holiday homes offer a wide range of standard features and additional options which are available to order.

A: Holiday homes on the Park are finished in enviro green and holiday lodges in green canexel complemented with light oak windows, to blend with the natural environment.

A: A children’s play area, fishing, and dog-walking area. We also have panoramic views and scenic riverside walks complemented by peace and quiet. Restaurants, swimming pools and other leisure facilities can be found nearby. Details are available in reception.

A: We do not allow commercial letting of holiday homes on the park.

A: Yes, we can offer a part exchange against a new or pre-owned holiday home.

A: No, we also sell good quality pre owned holiday homes. We can take your details and source a specific make or model according to your requirements. We will contact you when a suitable unit becomes available.

A: We do not employ external sales staff. The Park owners and staff will show you the holiday homes, advise you on the park facilities and also the range of holiday homes available.
